Pilot - Has glass hatch that opens - I liked that feature I have owned both, here are the major differences. What else am I missing? Any comments are appreciated! The Pilot is in its second to last year for this model, so its a proven reliable design, with low maintenance costs, compared to the newer Pathfinder with yet to be proven reliability. The Pilot is slightly more expensive than the Pathfinder, but Honda has $5000 rebate on new Pilots right now in Canada so that levels the playing field. And the Pilot is more roomy and able to carry one more passenger for a total of 8 adults, and the 3rd is adult-sized whereas the Pathfinder is better suited to kids or adults just for short duration trips. Obvious points in favor of the Pathfinder: The Pilot uses slightly more fuel in-town, but with the mileage I drive it isn't a significant factor. I'm a big fan of the Pilot, for me it is the perfect vehicle and hard to find any flaws. I'm curious if anyone cross-shopped the Honda Pilot when considering and ultimately purchasing the Pathfinder? If so, what was the deciding factor to go with the Pathfinder?
